In August, my husband and I took a road trip to Oman from Abu Dhabi, UAE to stay at the ultra luxurious and stunning resort, Alila Jabal Akhdar. This is an incredible place to be for some R&R or an adventurous getaway during the summer. It is ACTUALLY 15 degrees cooler up there, surrounded by nothing but spectacular mountains.
This was our first time in Bangkok and it was a blast. We spent 4 days, 3 nights in the capital of Thailand and with little time, we tried to see all the city had to offer. The city is bustling with tuk-tuks, food stands, and the sheer volume of people everywhere. It’s the metropolitan city of the country and even though it may seem crowded and busy, the people are friendly to tourists and we felt completely safe! In May 2017 I joined a mission trip with a Christian organization called Samaritans Feet. They coordinate trips all over the world with the goal of sharing hope within communities by washing feet and giving new shoes to those in need.
