This week, I’m getting my toasty combination ingredients from www.fulfilme.com. This was my first time trying out a home-delivery service for groceries in the UAE. I went on their website to begin my online-grocery shopping service. The best of all, they provide SAME-DAY free deliveries for orders over 100dhs in Abu Dhabi.
It was great fun at Off the Hook to be able to eat with our hands, get a little messy and enjoy some really good seafood! I really love the concept of this restaurant, and am ecstatic that they have opened this first location in Abu Dhabi. Their menu consists of only seafood boil items in which guests will pick the seafood, pick the sauce and pick the spice.
This is where the excitement begins – The tables are covered in parchment paper and all the guests are given aprons and gloves. There seems to be a few napkins on the table but NO utensils are in sight! The food will arrive in plastic bags and the only way to eat – is to dive right in with your hands!
I enjoyed a lovely evening at Genghis Grill sampling many of the dishes they have to offer. It’s great to have a taste of asian-fusion dining once in a while. The restaurant is located inside Al Wahda Mall at the core of Abu Dhabi. The décor of the dining room is exceptionally decorated with east-asian details, I especially love the gong at the entrance!
